A unique accomplishment is recalled, with this 1949-1953 New York Yankees World Champions display. This large wall-hanger was created by devoted baseball fan Ernie Montella, in honor of the Yankees winning the World Series five consecutive seasons, from 1949-1953, a feat that has never been equaled. A total of (41) period Bowman and Topps cards, plus one Joe DiMaggio reprint, are tastefully laminated on a large display panel, with a rich cherry wood tone border. These classic cards present average EX to EX-MT details, and overall this singular piece displays regally.
