Popular slugger Gil Hodges knocked in a lot of runs, to help the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers stay atop the National League for most of his career. His premature death in 1972 at the age of forty-seven, makes his autograph a relatively tough acquisition. Make a determined play for this Hodges single-signed album page. Centered nicely on this 4 x 5-1/2" page, Hodges neatly applied pencil signature shows ("9") strength. Several holes on the right edge of the page are located well away from this prized autograph, and will easily be covered up in framed and matted display. The opposite side of the page is signed by Hodges 1951-1952 teammate Andy Pafko, making it a pretty good bet these signatures were provided to a lucky fan in the early 1950s. Auction LOA from JSA.
