A rare occurrence in the realm of baseball took place in 1933, when the Washington Senators made their third and final trip to the "Fall Classic". Unfortunately for DC denizens, the Senators came up against a formidable New York Giants squad, that beat them handily in five games. One of the Giants' wins is recalled with this 1933 World Series Game 4 ticket stub. An attractive example, this vintage stub has earned a (VG 3) rating from PSA, which is good for a highest graded ranking of "1/3" at this level, out of a total population of (15). Label notations for this tidy 2-1 Giants 11-inning victory include the names of the opposing starting pitchers Hubbell and Weaver, along with a home run by Terry.
