Grab a rare treat with this 1952 Southern Association All-Stars team-signed baseball. An Official Southern Association/Hurth ball (EX-MT, shellacked), this mid-20th Century relic bears (21) autographs that average ("6-7") potency. The most important signer is Hall of Famer Luke Appling, who was the 1952 Southern Association manager of the year, serving as skipper of the Memphis Chickasaws. Most of the others saw at least some service time in the Majors, and several were prominent future or former big league stars.
