Advanced autograph collectors knock one out of the park with this 1932 Philadelphia Phillies team-signed baseball. A period-signed Pennant Amateur League model, this ball (VG) is decorated with (20) autographs from players who competed a century ago. While most of the signers were members of the '32 Fightin' Phillies squad, the key signer Casey Stengel was a coach from an opposing team, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Signature strength averages ("8-9") unless noted, under what appears to be a very thin layer of shellac, and several autographs are affected by sporadic surface abrasions.
