Presented is a circa 1910 Piedmont Cigarettes folding chair. This high-grade circa wooden advertising piece will draw considerable interest from tobacconists and pre-war specialists alike. Measuring 31 1/2 x 16”, the blue porcelain display reveals only hints of surface discoloration and abrasions. Unlike most other examples to have surfaced, the black “Save the Coupons” superscription is very readable, while the 21” side tobacco branding is conspicuous along each leg. The wooden slat seating reveals typical, but not excessive, wear.
