Former Dodger great and current Philadelphia first base coach Davey Lopes wore this lightweight Phillies home jersey during the 2007 season. Complete description available on our website.
A rare combination of power and speed defined Davey Lopes during his playing days. Serving in a mentor capacity after his on-field career, Lopes wore this white mesh-like button-down garment during the summer months of the 2007 Eastern Division championship season. The jersey features a red pinstripe pattern and "Phillies" embroidered in red cursive on a white panel across the chest. In red-on-white twill, "15" is sewn to the back and left sleeve and "LOPES" is arched atop the back number. An MLB silhouette logo is sewn to the base of the neck. The right sleeve is home to a "VUK" memorial patch in tribute to fallen teammate John Vukovich. A "Majestic" size "46" label is heat pressed to the left front tail while the interior left seam features a fabric content "0063" code tag and a flap tag denoting "+1" sleeve." Original and unaltered, the item shows light wear.
