One of just 35 Hawaiian-born players in big league history, Shane Victorino wore and signed this Phillies home jersey during the 2005 season. Summoned on September 1 after a successful stint in Scranton-Wilkes Barre, Victorino donned this white knit button-down jersey with a red pinstripe pattern and “Phillies” embroidered across the chest in red cursive. In red-on-white twill, “8” is sewn to the back and left sleeve and “VICTORINO” is arched atop the back number (which holds Victorino's “9” autograph). An MLB silhouette logo is sewn to the base of the neck, a “Majestic” label and a size “46” tag reside on the left front tail and, within the left seam, a fabric content “0062” code tag is accompanied by a “+1” slv” tag. All original, the item shows light wear. Accompanying is an LOA from Ed Dolan, as well as an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
