The only player ever to capture Rookie of the Year and Cy Young laurels in the same season, former Los Angeles Dodgers southpaw Fernando Valenzuela wore this Phillies road jersey during the latter portion of his celebrated career. Signed as a free agent in late June, 1994, Valenzuela donned this gray knit button-down garment with "Phillies" embroidered across the chest in red and an MLB "125th Anniversary" patch sewn to the right sleeve. In red-on-white twill, "33" is sewn to the back and left sleeve and "VALENZUELA" is arched atop the back number. White-and-red striped stretch ribbed cotton lines the sleeve endings and, situated on the left front tail, a "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" size "48" label is accompanied by a fabric content tag. All original, the jersey shows light wear. Accompanying is an LOA from Ed Dolan.
