Description

Plucked in the first round of the 1999 Amateur Draft, pitcher Brett Myers has gone on to earn 69 wins, and counting, for his Philadelphia suitors. The offered Phillies home jersey was worn and signed by the right-handed starter during the 2004 season. This white knit, red pinstriped button-down garment features “Phillies” embroidered across the chest in red. In red twill, “39” is sewn to the back and left sleeve and “MYERS” is arched atop the back number. Myers' black Sharpie signature (“8”) resides on the back “9.” An MLB silhouette logo adorns the base of the neck while the right sleeve is home to a Citizens Bank patch and a “POPE – TUG” patch in memory of fallen teammates Paul Owens and Tug McGraw. A “Majestic” label and size “52” tag are sewn to the left front tail and a fabric content tag with a “0062” code is sewn within the left seam. All original with signs of light wear. Accompanying is an LOA from Ed Dolan, as well as an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
