Prior to expressing his beliefs regarding metaphysics and astral travel, Darren Daulton let his bat do the talking. The former catcher wore the offered autographed Philadelphia Phillies road jersey during the 1991 season. A somewhat scarce three-year style, this gray knit button-down garment features the club's “P” logo sewn to the left breast in maroon-on-white twill, “10” sewn to the back and right front and “DAULTON” arched on a nameplate atop the back number. On the right front, Daulton's black marker signature and “#10” inscription show (“8”) quality. Red-and-white striped stretch knit lines the shoulders and sides, while a team logo patch adorns the left sleeve. Within the left front tail, a “Rawlings” size “46” label is accompanied by an embroidered “T” and a “SET 1 – 1991” flap tag. Limited to 89 games that year, Daulton still clubbed 12 home runs, including his first career grand slam. Original and unaltered, the jersey shows light wear. Accompanying is an LOA from Ed Dolan, as well as an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
