Disposing of the Baltimore Bullets, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers in successive playoff series, the 1972/73 New York Knicks captured their second-ever NBA title, despite having finished eleven games behind the Celtics in the regular-season standings. The offered lithograph print is signed by (7) of those Madison Square Garden greats. Composed by Robert Stephen Simon in 1990, this colorful collage is housed in a 34-1/4 x 28-7/8" frame with black matting. On the lower white border, the black marker signatures project ("9-10") strength and include: Bradley, DeBusschere (d.2003), Frazier, Holzman (coach, d.1998), Lucas, Monroe and Reed. Along the upper border, the artist has signed, as well. Accompanying is an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
